My First Post

Welcome to my new blog!

So now to decide what this blog is all about......My dear wife does such a great job of keeping up with family fun and events on her blog that I think I want to do something a little different. I'm thinking something special, something that will enrich the lives of those I know and love.

Heavenly Father has seen fit to put Karen and I in a position to help other couples with their marriages. For those that know us, you know that we are now into our fourth week of marriage enrichment classes we are responsible for teaching to our Ward family. I have to ask myself, why not bring some of that knowledge to those I know and love? I have certainly done the works over the years, made the mistakes that no one should make, been there done that. A lot of pain and misery and lost years could have been avoided if I had known better and done better. But then going through all that grief has led to much personal growth, knowledge and understanding. If I can help my own children as they now embark on their own marriages to avoid just a small portion of the pit falls that I have fallen into then I will feel I have done my job as a father. Perhaps others will decide to join in as well. I would love it if this blog made a difference in the quality of marriage whether it was family or not.

This should be fun and I hope you the reader will find it interesting, inspiring and of some small use. Who knows maybe we will even get into some of the juicy details of marriage.
